Occupy Syracuse Moves into Winter Quarters

In order to better protect the safety of campers and pedestrians, Occupy Syracuse has set up a portable 18 x 18 ft triple walled military surplus tent in Perseverance Park. Most smaller camping tents have been removed. This has reduced the footprint of the occupation site, allowing passersby to move more easily through the park. With one communal area to watch and maintain, campers will be better able to keep track of each others health and security. The new tent is designed for adverse weather conditions and will allow Occupy Syracuse to persevere through the winter.

Some have questioned whether Occupy Syracuse could survive the first snowfall, today we have answered them. Please come down to check out the new tent and get involved.
