Meanwhile, bailed-out banks demolish perfectly good homes that they have taken away from people, in order to increase their short-term profits!
Our current American priorities are allowing profiteer institutions to destroy and waste perfectly good housing resources, while human beings - those who believed in the American Dream and even those who went to war under the pretext of protecting that dream - are thrown out on the street.
George Carlin said that "It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it!" Veterans are learning this at alarming rates.
