We will be taking the messages of Occupy Wall Street and bringing them home into our own neighborhoods. Economic and social injustices have long plagued Rockland County and have often been met with total apathy or lack of direct action.
We are calling on all individuals who believe in a more just community to attend this General Assembly with thoughts, ideas, plans for action, etc. on how to reclaim Rockland County and restore power back into local communities. We will participate in horizontal direct democracy and employ consensus decision-making as demonstrated at Occupy Wall Street and all other occupations.
Please join us in our fight to TAKE BACK ROCKLAND COUNTY! Feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested as well!
(As an FYI, food and drink are allowed in the center so if anyone is willing and would like to take autonomous action and bring in something for the group I'm sure everyone would appreciate it)
