CABLEVISION'S NEWS 12 & NEWSDAY BULLY TEENAGER:
Viewers Gleefully Join In the Attack on a Young Human Psyche

About the most disgusting thing a so-called "news" agency can do, is to exploit and bully YOUTH for the sake of advancing a consistently fear-based and blood-thirsty Police-State. News 12 Long Island led the pack of wolves in downstate media this week, in hurting the innocent to advance the Prison-Industrial-Complex that most US media outlets blindly serve.

 1 in 100 American Adults
are currently incarcerated
 That's More Imprisoned-Population
Than ANYWHERE else in the World!

News 12 Long Island seems to have forgotten to mention these facts while serving up our own YOUTH into PRIVATE, FOR-PROFIT, prison-labor camps.

News 12 ViewerAlison Farrington Koch said, "yup, throw the little menaces in jail for a while and fine them a significant amount of money that their mommies and daddies are not allowed to pay ... they have to EARN the money themselves ... working at the jail."

Dominick Calvitto

News 12 ViewerDominick Calvitto suggests, "prolonged jail time," for the teenager accused of playing with a laser pointer.

[these are just a few examples of this Cablevision programmed Long Island lynch-mob]

We refuse to show the Name OR Picture of the ACCUSED (not "convicted") teenager, but News 12 Long Island ignored all ethics, morality, and journalistic responsibility and showed the TEENAGE BOY's NAME & FACE. The only thing uglier than News 12 Long Island's hit-piece on an 18 year old - was the responses from their viewers on their facebook page.

After showing a picture of the boy, their Viewers went on to bully him with a sociopathic blood-lust that would make any Human Being with a Conscience hope that these people are not real. Some others called out News 12 and their own neighbors for their hateful cries for blood and heartless and shallow personal attacks based on the YOUTH's appearance in the photo needlessly used by these Cablevision companies. Needless other than to further their own hit-piece on a teenager.

Take a look at the NAMES & FACES of your own neighbors, Long Island. See who shows up ready to burn witches and spit venom -  without any facts See who is quick to BULLY a teenager. Take a look at the vicious results of a society 'programmed' by Cablevision:

News 12 Long Island
TEEN ACCUSED OF POINTING LASER AT MARINE BUREAU OFFICER: Suffolk police have arrested a Sayville teen for pointing a laser at a Marine Bureau police officer who was on patrol in the Great South Bay last night. Eric Barry, 18, has been charged with reckless endangerment. The officer was treated for laser light exposure and released. What do you think about the recent spike in laser light incidents'? Do you think anything can be done to prevent them?

    • Diane Dinnigan “It is common for people to see a bright flash of light and think that they are injured when they really are not. The ophthalmologist has to be somewhat leery of what caused the injury. Was it caused by a laser? Or are you observing a visual anomaly that has been there all along? I recommend referring these patients to an ophthalmologist who has experience with this type of injury.” -- Laser injury expert Bruce Stuck, director of the U.S. Army Medical Research Detachment of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research at Brooks Air Force Base.

    • Sandy Footely How about you inform yourselves of things before you act like you know it all. What this kid might seem like a big funny joke to you, but to the person he did it to, it's not funny. Here's an insert that comes with a laser light:

      Laser Safety Notes
STOP AND READ ALL THE LASER SAFETY NOTES BELOW
Laser Light is different from any other light sources with which you may be familiar. The light from this product can potentially cause eye injury if not set up and used properly. Laser light
is thousands of times more concentrated than light from any other kind of light source. This
concentration of light can cause instant eye injuries, primarily by burning the retina (the light
sensitive portion at the back of the eye). Even if you cannot feel “heat” from a laser beam, it
can still potentially injure or blind you or your audience. Even very small amounts of laser light
are potentially hazardous even at long distances. Laser eye injuries can happen quicker than
      you can blink.
It is incorrect to think that because these laser entertainment products split the laser into
hundreds of beams that the laser beam is scanned out in high speed, that an individual laser
beam is safe for eye exposure. This laser product uses dozens of milliwatts of laser power
(Class 3B levels internally) before it splits into multiple beams (Class 3R levels). Many of the
individual beams are potentially hazardous to the eyes.
It is also incorrect to assume that because the laser light is moving, it is safe. This is not true.
Nor, do the laser beams always move. Since eye injuries can occur instantly, it is critical to
prevent the possibility of any direct eye exposure. In the laser safety regulation, it is not legal
to aim Class 3R lasers in areas which people can get exposed. This is true even if it is aimed
below people’s faces, such as on a dance floor.

    • Annette DeGiovine Sandy - I am very glad you gave the facts. Seems like a lot of people are ignorant of the fact that a laser pointer can cause blindness. Not to mention when someone aims a laser at you it can also be perceived as a gun with a laser. People aiming lasers at airplanes are also on the rise but what most people do not know is the pilots can give coordinates to the police on the ground. It is illegal to use a laser pointer other then for what it was intended and should not be sold to minors.

At no point in your ramblings, incoherent responses were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.(Billy Madison)

    • Francesca Palumbo Simon Well, all I can say is that this kid is a perfect candidate for plastic surgery. He reminds me of Ms. Piggy!

    • Judy Delaney Laser lights should be outlawed. There is no place for them in ordinary everyday life. Only those authorized to have one for their job should have access to them.

    • Chaz Gman I think people need to be educated on how to react to laser attacks if your being attacked turn your head away from the laser then your don't need to be treated at a hospital I'm pretty sure you won't go blind . But for it to get to the point where he had to go to the hospital maybe a physiological evaluation would be a good thing for the marine officer while he's there

    • Theresa Skelaney Yes, he did something terribly wrong and hopefully will be punished for it. I hope the person that got lasered is cured fully and without any permanent eye damage..BUT there is NO reason to attack his looks, his hair, nose, whatever. Grow up people!

    • Michael McQuillan Why do they still sell laser pointers? What possible function can they serve? Teachers can use good old wooden pointers. When I was in Myrtle Beach this summer, all over the news was people hitting pilots with lasers from beach hotels. The next day 20 planes go by advertising the sale of laser pointers for $7.99!

    • Michael McQuillan I love how someone on this thread actually blamed Obama for this.

    • Vinny Androsiglio I was doing security at our annual Country Concert festival back in 99' and caught someone shining one in the eyes of the artist on stage. He was arrested for posession with a deadly weapon. These stupid kids just don't get it or they just don't care. They need to be taken off the market but we know that won't happen anytime soon.

    • Occupy (NY) New York State What a bunch
of hateful Islanders on this NEWS 12 thread...
      sad.

This is a kid who made a dumb mistake - and NOBODY GOT HURT. End the Police State. Stop shilling for fascism, News12. You should know better. Let the kid go. You've already just put him through enough, you bullies.

      http://occupynewyork.blogspot.com/2012/08/american-fascism.html

Apparently Newsday (same company as News 12) did the same thing to this kid. Why are these Cablevision companies doing slimy hit-pieces on Long Island teenagers?!

Why Do We Allow LYING PROPAGANDA OUTLETS to call themselves "news" agencies when they are the opposite by definition?! When is enough, enough?

So WHY do Our Children Face Such Cruel Bullying? Look at How These Media Companies Manipulate the Masses to Tear Each Other Apart. Sociopaths are PROGRAMMING our society to be more sociopathic and destructive toward our own neighbors. This way, we won't notice how they keep getting richer at the same rate our families fight more just to live another day. Just look at the commentary (above) by News 12 Long Island Viewers - prompted by Cablevision's News 12

Look at the culture they are helping to create for us - those who program our airwaves with blood-lust-riddled vengeance and fear-mongering. These are the ones who have LIED US INTO WARS. Their lies are firmly on record, yet we allow them to continue. WHY?

Do We Really Want to Keep Tearing Ourselves Down? They Know That This Kind Of Dumb, Divisive PROGRAMMING Dis-empowers Us All. We Work Longer, Harder Hours for Less and Less with each passing year that these CORPORATIONS WRITE U.S. LEGISLATION and hand it to their Puppets in Congress and the White House - and They All Get Richer.

ARE YOU GETTING THE MESSAGE, NOW?
They're PROGRAMMING YOU to Fight Against Your Own Community, so that they can do what they like.   The only FREE nation is a UNITED one
       Fascism Divides.
      Stop Falling For It.
      Love Your Neighbor.
       Kill Your TV.
      It's Killing Us.
      unplug.

      Because this IS what a
      Police-State looks like!
